Italian born singer, Ginny Vee, has recently released her club-banger ‘Give Me Dynamite’ and its exactly the kind of track that gets people moving, as well as singing along.
With a distinct euro-house vibe and some crystal clear vocals on Ginny’s part, ‘Give Me Dynamite’ is the perfect anthem to your summer. But in the meanwhile, you can use it to get you through those dark, dreary winter days.
A highlight of the track is the quintessentially house-esque keys that come in just before the chorus with their groove-heavy chord structure, whilst the beat is sure to keep you moving all night long.
The lyrics are simple, but sometimes this is best – especially for a track of this genre. It allows the quality of production and the actual music to shine through, whilst still exhibiting Ginny’s unique voice.
Not only this, but there’s a certain je ne sais quoi to the track that gives it a super-feel-good vibe unlike anything else from this genre. The upbeat single was arranged by Steve Manovski (co producer and co writer of Sigala’s hit single ‘Give Me Your Love’) and it was recently taken to the Amsterdam Dance Event where it was unsurprisingly snapped quickly up by Disco:Wax (Sony).
Whilst Ginny may have struck the big time with ‘Give Me Dynamite’, at times it has been a tough road for the singer. Her family often suggested that she “get a secure job” any time she spoke of a career in music. Consequently, Vee attended law school but she soon left to follow her passion and joined a creative arts school. She then worked as a model and travelled to LA where she pursued an acting career, working on set with Michael Rooker. However Ginny’s passion was always singing and the cover group Belle Ma Belle was formed where she has worked alongside some of the biggest names in the Italian music industry. After a few years she made the break from the group and headed in her own direction.
